Ian Doyle

Ian spent 38 years with the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service during which time he became highly proficient in matters of tariff classification, customs valuation, warehousing and post compliance auditing and other compliance assurance techniques.  

Since retiring in 2007 he has been engaged by the Australian Government to provide capacity development and training to Customs administrations in Tonga, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea and Timor-Leste. In these four locations Ian has developed and delivered formal classroom training and mentored staff in Tariff Classification, Customs Valuation, Warehouse Compliance and Post Compliance Auditing Techniques.
