Andy brings four decades of distinguished service with the New Zealand Government, including more than thirty years of expertise in Customs. 

Throughout his career, Andy has held senior management positions across both operational and strategic areas, with extensive experience in project leadership and organisational development.

His career also reflects a strong international dimension. Andy has represented New Zealand Customs in senior postings in Brussels and London, and has contributed to global capacity-building initiatives through the World Customs Organization, strengthening international cooperation and advancing best practices in customs administration.
