The Centre for Customs and Excise Studies (CCES) has partnered with Fiji National University (FNU) and the Oceania Customs Organisation (OCO) to establish the Pacific Centre for Border Management and Security (PCBMS).
This dynamic tripartite partnership is working together to enhance the capabilities of border management officers across the Pacific region. Commencing with customs training in 2025, the PCBMS will provide a broad range of vocational and higher education programs that will ultimately include other aspects of border management, including biosecurity, immigration and maritime enforcement.
Based in Nadi, Fiji, students can enrol in several courses including the Certificate in Customs, the Diploma in Customs and the Bachelor of Border Management (Customs). The courses are being offered both online and at FNU campuses in Namaka, Nasinu, Labasa, and Ba.
