Bryce is CCES's Regional Representative for the Americas. He is also CEO of Trusted Trade Alliance LLC, located in Vancouver, Washington, USA, and a member of the board of the International Customs Law Academy.
Bryce's current research is focused in the areas of customs and trade law, with a focus on e-commerce, border management policy, export controls and sanctions, and the application of technology to assist with cross-border processes.
His research activity includes studies of international border management processes in the context of the EU, the US, and several major trading countries, including Japan, Canada, and Mexico. Bryce has led or served as an expert on a multilateral trade facilitation survey project sponsored by APEC, and a number of capacity building and technical customs training projects sponsored by the Inter-American Development Bank and USAID in the Latin American region.
Dr. Blegen completed his PhD (Policy Studies) at Charles Sturt University in 2023. He obtained his Juris Doctor and a Master of Arts degree in International Studies at the University of Denver. He is admitted as an Attorney in Illinois, the US Federal Courts, and the US Court of International Trade.
