Benedicte Meille has twenty-five years of experience working for international organisations including the World Customs Organization and World Bank Group in areas including border management and trade facilitation, organisational development, and public-private partnerships.

Her career has centered on promoting people-centered approaches to reform and change management, valuing human capital, promoting gender mainstreaming, and designing inclusion mechanisms for policy-making. 

Having supervised customs capacity building programs around the world, Benedicte is now focusing on fostering trade facilitation governance in developing countries, as well as being actively involved in managing innovation and strategic relationships between the container industry and the international customs community.
