Brian is a seasoned customs professional with thirty-six years of service in the Australian Customs Service. 

He is recognised as a specialist consultant in the area of tariff classification and review, the development and application of tariff policy and systems, and workforce capability building.

Since 1983, Brian has been closely involved with the Australian Harmonized Tariff, bringing expertise across tariff publication, legislation, administration, and training. He has designed and delivered national and international training programs on a wide range of tariff-related subjects, supporting customs officials, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.
