Nick is a Lecturer with the Centre for Customs and Excise Studies. He is currently on secondment from Vanuatu Customs and Inland Revenue where he is a Senior Manager with responsibility for the Customs and Tax operations in the four Northern Provinces of Vanuatu. He has over thirty years’ experience in the field of Customs administration and a dedicated interest in capacity building activities. Nick recently completed his WCO Master Trainer program in the Harmonized System (HS) and is a WCO HS expert and Master Trainer. 

Nick has extensive experience in Post Clearance Audits, and in recent years, as an accredited trainer for the Oceania Customs Organisation (OCO), has delivered numerous training activities throughout the Pacific for small island states. 

Prior to assuming his managial position in Vanuatu, Nick was a senior Customs audit officer at the Post Clearance Audit Division.  Nick holds a Master of Customs Administration from Charles Sturt University.
