OCO launches AEO Dialogue Series.

The Oceania Customs Organisation (OCO) has launched a series of virtual dialogue sessions to support the development and implementation of Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Frameworks across its member administrations.

The initiative, which commenced on 22 September and will be delivered over a three-month period, reflects OCO’s ongoing commitment under its Strategic Plan 2022-2027 to strengthen trade management and facilitation in the South Pacific region.

CCES have been invited to participate in each of the three virtual sessions beginning with Professor David Widdowson this week who led a discussion on the topic, ‘Benefits of AEO for Customs and the Private Sector’.

Associate Professor Mark Harrison will present on 'The AEO Framework's development and design' with Ms Silivia Vosa, CCES's Senior Lecturer joining a panel to explore implementation and sustainability matters in more detail.

More information on the Series can be sought from the OCO Secretariat Team - www.ocosec.org/contact-us/
