Dr Daniel Evans

Dan is a uniquely skilled Australian professional with 20+ years’ experience in Directorships, General Manager, Consultancy and Advisory roles. He has worked in corporate strategy, operations, event management, human resource management and executive development.

Dan has substantial knowledge of the Middle Eastern and neighbouring business environments and an excellent professional network. He was based in the Middle East for over a decade, speaks Arabic conversationally and has an excellent rapport with senior business people in the GCC. He has worked with Government and business leaders at the highest level.

While based in the Middle East, Dan was Chairman of the Australian Business Group in Oman (ABGO) and Vice Chairman of the Australian Business Group in Abu Dhabi (AusBG).

Dan’s academic credentials include a PhD in International Business, a Master’s degree in Commerce and a Bachelor’s degree in Business specialising in corporate competitive advantage.

He is an accomplished lecturer and tutor and has published five articles in international business journals. He has also co-authored three books.

Dan is a former professional athlete and in 2001 won the Australian Amateur Light Welterweight Boxing Title. He is now based in Australia with his wife and daughters.
