Kontee is currently at the United Nations regional office in Bangkok Thailand, where he works as an advisor in the role of NGOs in national fiscal policy development. Prior to joining the UN, Dr Kontee worked in the Fiscal Policy Office of the Ministry of Finance of Thailand as an economist providing advice to the government on various policy issues. He holds a PhD in Economics from Syracuse University, New York.
