CCES contributes to first edition of new CSU publication

The Home Affairs, Policing and Security Science (HAPSS) research group has just launched a bi-annual newsletter to keep those working, studying and researching in the field up to date with its activities and latest information.  In its first edition, CCES has contributed the article Estimation of the Illicit Tobacco Market in Australia which is based on a recently published study of the same name in the latest World Customs Journal.  Dr Rob Preece and Dr Alain Neher, the authors of the study, will also present the main findings of the study at the 2021 International Social Marketing Conference.  The study, which can be found here, analyses publicly available data to estimate the size of the illicit tobacco market, and compares its findings with the large variation of estimates published by the government and the tobacco industry.  The first edition of CSU’s The Bulletin featuring the article can be found here.
